Chiara Fashion's bargain party heels

chiaraheels.jpgI've never heard of Chiara Fashion before now, but after seeing these shoes in More! magazine's bargain buy page for only £6, I'll definitely be making a habit of browsing there more!

The Strappy Ankle Buckle Silver Platforms are the kind of killer heels I can see myself wearing to assorted Christmas parties, and their basic silver colour lends them to most outfits

At £6, you can't really go wrong, particularly as delivery is free and next day is only £4.50. These platforms aren't the only bargain on the site though.

DKNY gun-metal grey metallic leather heeled trainers

dkny grey 2.jpgHave we all got our heads around high-heeled trainers yet? I do hope so, because I've been a bit of a wuss about trying them thus far despite the fact that for me, athletic comfort + height = perfection. I'm still not entirely sold on the look, but these rather futuristic metal effect heeled trainers by DKNY are starting to make me want to stride right out of my footwear comfort zone.

These shoes would add a space age twist to an ordinary jeans or casual outfit, instandly adding interest and inches. With their heavily padded edging and ribbed toe caps, I bet they'd be great in snowy or wet weather too, keeping your feet toasty and elevated!

This seasons must-have tights: the high street edition

tights.jpgWhether it's a love of fashion that's driving your or just a strategy for basic survival in the cold, tights are in this season. There are some wonderful tights out there, many of which we've featured on this blog. But haven't the prices got a bit out-of-control recently?

The likes of Bebaroque et. al. are charging way more than any sane person would pay for a garment with the tendency to ladder - however careful you are with your nails, you can never quite predict what will happen when your tights come into contact with velcro, jewellery, car doors or the dreaded cigarettes.

So, I've been on a hunt for exciting and attractive high street equivalents. Everything in this selection is £10 or less.

Read on over the jump for details in each case...

Shoewawa Preview: H! for Henry Holland collection at Debenhams

h-henry-holland-debenhams.jpgLast night, Ms Shoewawa got a sneaky peek at the new H! collection from Henry Holland. Launching at Debenhams in February 2010, the range will feature everything the fashion-savvy budget fashionista needs in her wardrobe; from bikinis and jackets to shoes and accessories.

'Budget' really is the watchword here, as nothing in the range will exceed £50, in stark contrast to Matthew Williamson's 'Butterfly' range, whose items often fetch three figures. As you'd expect, there's a bit of an 80s tinge to everything, with neons and bold styling used throughout the range. The tall shoes will make dazzling partywear for fans of the Henry Holland look, while floral and candy-coloured pumps step in for more relaxed days.

We look forward to seeing the collection out on the street in February!

Office 'Point and Square' patent heels

point-and-square.jpgIdeal for those who love the Rupert Sanderson-style polished heels look but can't afford the real thing at the mo, these angular heels from Office are a real treat for parties, dressing up or formal occasions. The square toe adds just a bit of edge to what is otherwise a classic and very wearable style.

'Point and Square' has been available in a matte or faux-snakeskin finish for a while now, but these new versions feature the two essential colours of the season, and with a glossier, more glamorous finish.

£70 at Office

Handmade heels by Scotatto

handmade-heels.jpgWe see a lot of custom shoes, handmade flatties and slippers, but a fully-fledged pair of handmade heels is a rarity, particularly when they're as beautiful and unusual-looking as these ones!

I particularly like the view from the back, which shoes the detail of the embroidery on the milk-white leather, but you can see them from all sorts of angles at Scotatto's shop, here.
