Has Louis Vuitton gone mad?

Fans of Louis Vuitton, we're beginning to believe that Marc Jacobs and co. are going a bit stir crazy. Nobody can blame the brand for trying to do something a bit less obvious than whacking a monogram on a pair of mules and flogging them to social climbers, but did they really need to go as far as this? We bring you the Scottish Derby shoe. We can't help but admire the novelty appeal, but what exactly would you wear these with? Answers on a postcard...

As a sort-of Maypole Dancer, myself... I would like to state that I would NOT wear those.

I would rather say that flowery founcy shoes are more the type of the May Day celebrators.
