People's Choice Awards
We love a good awards ceremony for a bit of shoe-spotting (roll on the Oscars). Last night was the People’s Choice Awards, a chance for US TV stars to get dressed up and attempt to hold their own against a very polished Renee Zellweger (are those the same gold Jimmy Choo sandals she wore to the Edge of Reason premiere?) and a newly bobbed Jessica Simpson. Gorgeous pink strappies graced the feet of Kristen Bell, and Eva Mendes wore two-tone shoes that reminded us of these Marc Jacobs pumps. However, Aisha Tyler (she was in Friends, remember?) caught our attention the most, not only for wearing lime green satin sandals, but for doing so with a showstopping rainbow satin gown that’d make most people look ridiculous. Copy her shoes with our budget find, 'Wand' by Guess for $59.90 (about £35).

Ugh. I'm sorry, fabulous shoes, awful, awful, awful rainbow dress. Gawdy colours, but also, NO shape. Tsk tsk, tis a shame! I shudder.
