When someone is flogging shoes for around £400 a pair, you do find yourself questioning their credentials. What makes their shoes so special they’re in Jimmy Choo territory? As a former designer for Bruno Magli (who was also courted by Sergio Rossi), Rupert Sanderson obviously knows his way around a Mary-Jane, and his high-end designs are both beautifully constructed and wearable, which is a good thing when the heels on shoes like the Margaret (left) are 10cm high.
