Starlet by Star Jones

StarletRemember we mentioned after Oscar night that Star Jones wore payless shoes with her Richard Tyler dress? Well back then the gold strappies, from her 'Starlet by Star Jones' range, weren't available to buy on the website. But now they are. Copy everyone's favourite red carpet reporter's style on the tightest of budgets with these $19.99 Jetset sandals. They also come in silver.

Easter eBay Watch

We're just off to enjoy the sun (and possibly a drink or seven) during Easter weekend, but first there's just time for an Easter eBay watch. There's not really anything specifically Easter-ish about these picks, but then Easter-themed shoes are a disaster waiting to happen, aren't they?

EbayeastBirkenstock Madrid Slides (UK 6)
Gold Indian beaded slip-on shoes (UK 7)
Emma Hope black courts with applique (UK 4.5)
Unworn gold & floral Lulu Guinness shoes (UK 5.5) (left)

Ugly JLo of the week

Uglyshoejlo
It's Ugly Shoe Of The Week time again, and this week the fuglies comes courtesy of Jennifer 'I never was JLo, even though it's what I called my album and my fashion brand' Lopez. These $200 wood, acrylic and lucite shoes are described by the retailers as being "the only shoes in the world that can be worn with every outfit, in every season, and with any color". They forget to add "and look equally awful with each and every one". The glass slipper should be left to Cinderella, take note, La Lopez.

Paul Smith Wellies

PaulsmithJust when we thought the Sun was finally out for good, it started raining again. Luckily for us Barneys Girl has come up with the ultimate rundown of stylish rainwear to get us through those impending April showers. Her rundown of funky wellies is great (though where are the Tamara Henriques?) and we especially love these Paul Smith wellies ($115), complete with girly kitten heel.

Pucci 'Dance'

PuccitiePucci's Runway 'Dance' Satin Sandal, as seen on the Pucci catwalk and coming in at a 'for that I have my own catwalk show' $600 a pair. There are many reasons why I should absolutely hate these over-the-top, bold and brash wedge sandals. But for some reason, I love them almost as much as I love the matching dress. Flashy, moi? Never...

Adele Clarke

Adele We mentioned a while back that our London Fashion Week find, Well, her designs are now up on the site, and though the collection is small, it's perfectly formed. Our favourites are these knotted leather sandals, which are girlie enough to pass our 'impractical is best' test, but chunky enough to be stylish in a season of heavy, clunky sandals. Start saving, they're £440.

Lulu Guinness 'Susie'

LulufloralLulu Guinness has long been associated with girly fifties glam, but these shoes are just the epitome of that look, the kind of shoe you can imagine Juliette Binoche would have worn in 'Chocolat' had they been around during filming. One thing's for sure - if wearing these 'Susie' mules will snag us a man who looks anything like her Johnny Depp-shaped love interest, it'll be £135 well spent!
