Desk to Disco

Donna Karan's Alexandra pump appealed to us because of the extended name. It's a 'desk to disco' pump, the idea being that it's chic enough for work, but sexy enough for a night out. Now we're of the opinion that half the fun of a night out is in the getting ready, so the idea of an all-purpose shoe you don't need to change isn't such a good thing. But it is nice to know that your $420 is going to buy you a versatile black court that takes you from day through to night and never goes out of fashion. Much easier to justify to your accountant!
