How to get one up on Manolo
This has to be our favourite High St vs Designer find so far. On the left are a pair of strappy interlaced leather sandals from Manolo Blahnik, as worn by Liz Hurley. They're $525. On the right are the faux-leather copies, available in silver or gold for only £28. They have the same interlaced vamp and heel, the same stitching around the edges of the insole, and the same covered heel (3.5 inches on the Manolo, 4 inches on the copies). Usually there's a flaw with the copy, but isn't metallic even better than white? We know they're not leather, but still, join the queue.
