The Donna Karan 'Sophie Ankle Chain' ($605.95). Is it a wedge or is it a spike heel? Well really, it's a clever combination of both. Technically, since the wedge section is 'open', it can't be a wedge...but since it has the bar across the bottom, it's too blocked-off to be a heel. So I put it in both categories, so twice as many of you can ogle its greatness.

In the unlikely event of any member of the blonde-haired, fluffy pink LA tribe (think Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson and new recruit Lindsay Lohan) deciding they need a pair of flats to add to their shoe wardrobe, it's pretty safe to say they'll nip into the 'hip' place to shop, Intuition, to get these $105 metallic ballet flats with their saccharine sweet cupcake and ice cream diamante appliques.
