Here's a great DIY tip. Next time a strap snaps on your favourite pair of sandals, don't despair. Just get hold of some string, thread it through, add a couple of stylish knots et voila! New shoes.
Seriously, we're a bit concerned these rope tie sandals from Bronx (£40) may be taking the hippie-gypsy-peasant-whatever trend a little too far. The sandals may have a certain old-world 'I love hemp bracelets' charm about them, but we have two words for you - rope burn.
