Camilla Skovgaard

I must confess this new designer find comes courtesy of the September issue of Vogue. On one of the few pages not graced by an ad, they introduce the world to Camilla Skovgaard, previously a designer in the Gulf, and now a fashion force to be reckoned with in London. Her shoes are gorgeous, well-made and wearable. Shown are the 'Romance' sandals in silver leather. Like the folks at Vogue, I also love the Gladiator-style heeled python skin sandals (very Balenciaga) and the blue 'Struzzo' shoe / boot hybrid. For stockists see here.

Thanks. Thanks so much for this site. Thanks for putting me onto Camilla's line. Thanks for breaking my pocket but I actually feel like I've officially started my shoe collection with this shoe. ("Romance") I managed to get it from London in time for my first fashion show and it was so worth it. Great packaging and presentation. You know you're onto something good when men AND women ask you where did you get your shoes from.
