Feeling ropey?

Esp_1 I'm going to share with all you Shoewawa readers something I learnt a couple of days ago. Espadrilles don't like rain. Imagine my heartache when I set out on Saturday wearing my favourite 'drilles, only to discover that it was hammering it down with rain. Now those shoes are effectively ruined. However, it's still technically summer, so the rope-effect shoes are still wearable as long as you pick your weather correctly. The 'Pacha' from Steve Madden is definitely not rain-proof, but we'll probably get a few more weeks of decent weather before winter sets in. They're only $73.95, so buy them, wear them religiously for three weeks and then consign yourself to an espadrille-free winter! [Toni Stokes]
