Ugly Boot of the Week.

Okay, I know what you're thinking, I thought it myself when I started to think this post out. What am I playing at? One minute I'm insisting that lace up boots are the way to go this Autumn/Winter, the next I'm featuring a pair of - you guessed it - lace up boots in Ugly Boot of the Week! What's a girl to do? Whilst you're probably best off ignoring me in general, let me explain this slightly contradictory choice. I stand by the fact that lace-up boots are what you should be wearing this A/W. However, these Giuseppe Zanotti's from zappos.com are taking it a bit too far, methinks.  As far as I can tell from the picture, they mean revealing a good chunk of skin visible through the lace ups. Which, to me, is basically shouting out to people "look how fat my legs are - my boots don't even do up properly!". And there's a lot of much nicer boots you could get for $889. [Toni Stokes]
