Do you know of any web-sites (USA or Canadian only) that sell "Honeybee" style boots? - Sheila
Sheila, really? Honeybee boots (left) are like the slutty older sister to last year's Mukluk! The fussy knee-highs are lined with real rabbit fur, which as far as I'm concerned is unnecessarily cruel when fakes are so good. But if you must indulge in yet another fur fad, Dr Jays stock the real thing for $95. For those who'd rather go fake, Go Jane do the cheapest version in black, camel and white with a chunkier heel for $32.99. Report also make a more casual lace-up with a wedge heel and shealing trim for $123.95.
If you have petite feet, shoes with heels set at the very back of the foot are perfect for elongating the foot. They're not the easiest to walk in and can feel a bit unstable at times if the shoe is cheaply made (go for quality brands and take small steps) but once you get used to the hell placement, they'll give you a real 'sex on legs' look. Oscar de la Renta's satin brocade 'Floral Cloque' pumps come in a tiny US 5.5 and up (which is about a UK 2.5) and are $525 a pair. Pricey, but gorgeous!
We've raved about the Salvatore Ferragamo heels on the left already. A very vintage design, in the season's 'it' fabric (velvet), they're the star of the current advertising campaign and guaranteed to be bestsellers as we move into Winter. So it's a good thing the high street have caught on to the trend too. Topshop's option have suede uppers and cut-outs, but the same pointed toes and lace-up straps. And they're only £45, a much more viable option than Ferragamo's $390!
Only Donatella (and her design team) would think to make shoes in velvet that's made to look like reptile skin! It was love at first sight when I came across these rhinestone studded Versace pumps. The curves and retro style details make them the perfect way to accessorise a 40's style outfit (think Dita Von Teese, Gwyneth in 'Sky Captain & The World Of Tomorrow' and Scarlett Johansson in Roland Mouret) but they look anything but old-fashioned. You can get free shipping with the code 'GLAM' if you buy these before end of today. How generous, considering they cost over $600 a pair!
I am in desperate need of some purple boots (preferably suede)! I have trawled the net but to no avail! Maybe you guys can help? - Kirstie
Indeed we can. How do these ones suit you? They're both purple and suede, and have the added appeal of low, comfy heels and a pretty knotted detail around the calf. Most impressively, they're only £50 a pair from high street giants Dorothy Perkins. That's what I call a bargain!
Time for more eBay finds, and this week I've sought out some designer boots for you. They're all quite sleek and chic in design, but with wedges, stiletto heeled ankle boots, classic Manolo knee-highs and vintage snakeskin numbers, there's bound to be something to suit your style.

Purple suede buckled Christian Louboutin ankle boots (US 10.5)
