Georgina Goodman does it again
This £369 'Maya' wedge sums up entirely why I find Georgina Goodman such an intriguing shoe designer. She doesn't go for the obvious, which is probably why Manolo Blahnik described her as "the future of shoe design". Many designers make beautiful shoes, but they're copied within five minutes by high street chains. Meanwhile there's no mistaking this as a Georgina Goodman design, and you won't find anything like it in Miss Selfridge. Whether you love it or hate it, you have to admire the creativity.
