Manolo's Super Fantastic Essay Contest
As much as I worry about sending you all to other shoe blogs (*cue scary music*), I understand a woman's need to have shoes, so who am I to keep from you a competition that could win you thousands of dollars worth of shoe-themed prizes? Fabulous fellow shoe blogger Manolo (not Mr Blahnik, the other one) is running an essay contest that could bag you gift certificates to some of the top e-tailers, a pair of Beverly Feldman heels (like these $300 Angela ones) and various other lovely shoe-shaped things. All you need to do is write a 30o word (or less) essay on shoes. Shame about the slight conflict of interests / unfair advantage that's stopping me from entering. I could do with some new boots...

Shoes to me and every other girl out there is like a completely different life style. Personally my whole outfit revolves around my shoes. One day I'll feel like wearing my Uggs, which then has to match a calm cool and relaxed outfit, heck! i even match my attitude! Shoes are my whole life and with out shoes i would just have nothing to spend my next check on. Plus shoes are a great way to show everyone what attitude im in that day. If i was feeling tired some day i would wear my steve madden clogs. If i was feeling flirty i would wear my black juicey stilettos. Basically what I'm saying is that SHOES R MINE AND EVERYOTHER GIRLS LIFE!
