As much as I worry about sending you all to other shoe blogs (*cue scary music*), I understand a woman's need to have shoes, so who am I to keep from you a competition that could win you thousands of dollars worth of shoe-themed prizes? Fabulous fellow shoe blogger Manolo (not Mr Blahnik, the other one) is running an essay contest that could bag you gift certificates to some of the top e-tailers, a pair of Beverly Feldman heels (like these $300 Angela ones) and various other lovely shoe-shaped things. All you need to do is write a 30o word (or less) essay on shoes. Shame about the slight conflict of interests / unfair advantage that's stopping me from entering. I could do with some new boots...
