Uglyclog_1 Three words to explain why these $189 Via Spiga 'Idona' clogs are our Ugly Shoe this week. They're not slippers. You're actually expected to wear these things outside. Possibly not in the company of anyone who has an iota of taste, because though they might be quite fun to wear with your dressing gown on Christmas day, I can't think why anyone would wear them as shoes. The clog heel. The velvet upper. The faux fur trim...when did Narnia chic become stylish?

I agree with you about every shoe in this blog. Except these. They're FUN. They scream comfort (and every review I've read about them by people who actually bought them mentions they are comfy too), I love the color, they show no pretence of snotty-designer-chic, and I am on the hunt for a pair. ;D Which is how I came across your blog. I'm going to pair them with my favorite -very- old Levis, the fuzziest chenille sweater I can find, and dare anyone to tell me they're in bad taste.
