More boots in various calf widths

BbowsRecently I've had even more emails than usual from people looking for boots that come in various calf widths. Shoey reader Candice and Anna have the opposite problem to most; skinny calves that look lost in most boots rather than chunky calves that need extra-wide legs. Regular visitors will know about Duo of Bath, who specialise in boots to fit all shapes and sizes, but I've also found some more alternatives. Buckles and Bows make various classic knee-highs in various widths. They also provide you with a detailed description of how to work out your size. The boots start at £100 in leather or suede. If that still doesn't suit, custom shoemakers Selve will craft a pair of boots to fit you exactly based on a 3D scan of your foot. Now that's service!

Certainly, a decent cobbler can adjust any boot to fit any calf.

This article was incredibly useful, as a friend of mine was upset that she has muscular calves and can't find boots to fit and I referred her right to it.

They're fab - new ranges just arrived, boots with style and fitting like a glove?

Trouble is that cobblers are few and far between these days.
