Combining this season's trendy fabric, velvet, with a pretty but wearable evening shape, the Hype 'Recital' court ($129) would be great for dressing up your jeans. Peep toes in winter are always a bit of a gamble, but provided you pick the right tights or stockings you could just about wear these with skirts too. The detail on the toes will just about detract from the seams of your hose and allow you to stay warm. Be careful, though, and skip the dark opaques. So many different kinds of wrong...
