Yay or Nay Wednesday #12

We had the first definite 'yay' in a long time last week, with the gold heeled pumps which I can now tell you were Laundry by Shelli Segal's 'Janice' ($158.95). This week I thought it was time for a change, and some flats. So what do you all think of these buckled babies? Are they cute and chic, or old-fashioned and out of date? Sophisticated Sparkle

Many of you disliked the last pair of sequinned shoes that got the Shoewawa treatment (via Yay of Nay Wednesday) but how about these alternatives? The slightly more subtle royal blue sequins are trimmed with velvet and sit on a 4" heel. They're by Gucci, and are sold at Styledrops for $594.

Stud Collar Slouch Boots

Isn't it always the way? A couple of hours after posting about Sienna's jewelled suede foldover boots, and I find these newbies over at ASOS. Sadly they're not made from real suede though they look like a good fake, and at £35 a pair you can't complain! They're not that similar to Sienna's, but if you want something that echoes her style on a real budget these are the best ones I've found. They're also available in black or brown.

Sienna's Green Suede Boots

In the last two days, I've received five emails about these green suede thigh high boots with a metallic trim as seen on Sienna Miller. I'm not sure what has inspired so many of you to write in such a short space of time, but you're obviously desperate to get your hands on them! According to the fabulous Sienna Online the boots are £400+ Chloe numbers, but something (like the complete lack of any mention of them anywhere) tells me they're from a past season. So what are the alternatives? Well, the high street versions are fairly lacklustre, so I suggest you get crafty by adding a trim to these eBay finds (or these).

A Miu Miu Maybe

I'll be honest with you. I just can't decide about these shoes, and I was very tempted to make them tomorrow's 'Yay or Nay' choice, but we've had so many sparkly stilettos in that category recently that I didn't want to flog a dead horse. These are new from Miu Miu at $385, and while I love the glittery upper, I'm not sure about the beige trim and tiny peep toe. What do you think. Are they fugly or fabulous?

Adidas_1 Intelligence Level 1.1

I'm not exactly a trainer expert, but I can still appreciate the greatness of a running shoe with a built-in computer! The new Adidas_1 Intelligence Level 1.1 is the second generation of their 'intelligent' trainer, which adjusts itself via a motorised cable system to provide optimum comfort and support. The new design has a faster microprocessor, better cushioning and more torque (whatever that is), which basically means it adjusts itself faster and smoother than the original Adidas_1. Foldover Ankle Boots

Not keen on all the foldover knee-highs that are around at the moment? How about a pair of fold-over ankle boots instead?  These ones from River Island are available in gold or sage green leather for £69.99 a pair. Choose your outfit carefully though. Poking out from under jeans you'll get a layered look, with skirts you'll get a more funky, Sienna Miller-ish vibe.
