Clarks Somerly - The New Saskia

Somerley_1
Remember last year's sell-out sandal, the 'Saskia' from Clarks? The sequin covered flats were so successful they were selling for hundreds on eBay despite an original price tag of less than £30. The good news for those who didn't get hold of them is that they're back this Spring (sort of)! This year Clarks bring us the 'Somerly', which is the same style with a kitten heel. It's hitting the shops in February for £34.99, in black and silver colourways. The stockist number is 08705 785 886, and there's also a store locator on the Clarks website.

Are we talking about the same Clarks that is responsible for these monstrosities?

Managed to pick up some Navy Somerly's yesterday afternoon in London.
I don't expect this version to be as popular as last years but I bought them now in advance for Summer. I am glad I did as my store only had one of each colour in each size e.g in size 5 only one gold and one navy.

They seem a bit more dressy because of the kitten heel. I am still slighty pi***d that I did not get hold of the gold flat ones from last year as in Summer I like to wear flat shoes.

I am a bit worried that wearing these heeled ones in the day will make me seem a bit amature pornstarish. However they are cute to wear with jeans as an evening/clubbing shoe.
