Funky Chunky

SeycsaleI don't know what's happening to me, but the more I'm exposed to the chunky shoes that are so prominent for Spring, the more I find myself wanting to put the spindly heels I usually wear in storage. I can't explain it, but I see shoes like these Seychelles floral pumps (down to $60 at Urban Outfitters) and I want them as much as I wanted a pair of Jimmy Choo Macy's this time last year. If you look very closely, I have the words 'fashion victim' etched on my forehead, slowly becoming more and more prominent...

Hmmm. So this chunky heel thing is really going to happen, isn't it? I'm struggling with it. Not especially delicate, or feminine, or chic, is it? Seems like kind of a young look, too. Hmmm... maybe it'll grow on me!

Oh my heavens. I own these. Aren't they splendid? I haven't worn them yet and am wasting perfectly good shoe-wearing time trying to find the perfect situation. Tomorrow for sure.
