For some reason, I've lately become obsessed with Dorothy Perkins. It's a shop I go through phases with. I thought the winter stuff was rubbish, but for Spring they've come up with some amazing catwalk copies and trend pieces for stupid pocket money prices. And now they've reduced loads of shoes! These brogue style patent flats are £10 and absolutely perfect with all your Spring stripes and polka dots.
I'm always on the lookout for the perfect flat dress shoe for ladies who can't bear to wear heels, and with all the peep toe flats that are hitting the shelves this season, it's quite easy to find something that combines formal with functional. These Loeffler Randal suede skimmers are beautiful, with dipped sides and a bow vamp. They'll set you back $350 (plus the cost of some suede protector) at Neiman Marcus.
It's time for you to get your fashion thinking caps on again, as we bring another shoe for you to style an outfit around. This week you'll have the find the perfect ensemble to flatter these Marc by Marc Jacobs flats ($295). If you took part in last week's challenge, the chosen outfits are now up at Catwalk Queen for the world to see.

We've talked about white shoes before. They can be very difficult to wear if you're over the age of 8 and not planning to get married any time soon. But designers continue to make them a trend, as if to test us. The trick is to avoid bridal fabrics like satin and silk, and go for shoes that are easy to keep clean and trimmed or decorated with darker colours for contrast. These mini-platforms from Linea Paolo (the 'Lindsay' for $89.95) are just right. But if you're still cautious, they also come in black.
When even Jimmy Choo - a brand synonymous with the stiletto - begins making chunky heeled sandals, you know you're not going to escape the trend no matter how hard you try. The 'Elika' suede sandals have clog style studs and ankle chains for a touch of bling with your chunkiness. They're £270 from Net a Porter.
Time for another spot the difference! This is a bit different to our usual choices, because the expensive shoe isn't really that expensive, at $79.99 from mid-level brand Seychelles (left). But for the target audience of young girls with Mary-Kate & Ashley obsessions, the Kafe flower pump from Payless for $22.99 (right) is an even cheaper option, if they can stand to wear PU instead of leather. There's barely any difference, with the same heel height, tiny platform and flower corsage. All you're missing is a bit of decorative stitching and a pattern on the sole which'll no doubt rub off after one wear!
On the same day that we swooned over the Poste Mistress Louboutin-alikes, my shoe fiend friend and I also found ourselves cooing over these patent pumps with bows on. You'll have to trust us that they look much nicer in real life, and would go perfectly with a black pencil skirt (and a shirt and corset belt, if you're into the whole 'I'm the missing 6th member of Girls Aloud' thing). They're a very reasonable £49.99 from Schuh.
