We've all read enough articles about how dangerous high heels are. But this week The Mirror have gone one step further with the shock tactics, reporting that killer 5 inch heels might actually cause fertility problems in women due to the excess pressure on the abdomen and pelvis. As far as we can see, there's been no scientific study to back this up, just speculation from a personal trainer / health and fitness expert. But it might be worth thinking about next time you go strutting in your Louboutin Pigalle pumps. On a lighter note, the tell-tale signs that this feature was written by a man came with the sentence "And with London Fashion Week kicking off next Tuesday, Miu Miu and Mouret models are expected to be powering down the catwalk in the towering footwear". I think someone should tell Miuccia and Roland that, because last time I checked neither of them showed in London!
