Charity Havaianas

LavhavIt's March, it was snowing earlier today, and already I'm fed up of looking at flip-flops. This is the beginning of a downward spiral, I fear! I know people who look forward to the first flip-flop day of the year with great anticipation. In fact, I used to be one of them. I think I'm going to have to work on my enthusiasm by reminding myself that I can do a good deed when buying this year's pair. Miss Selfridge are selling two pairs of limited edition Havaianas, with £5 from each sale going to the Lavender Trust, a breast cancer care charity. Get them in pink or lavender for £20 now.

  • Bee, not unfashionable at all, I do the exact same thing with mine (they make great slippers, don't they?). Igapost was definitely a gem of a find!

Ivy, really! Havaianas/low quality - in the same sentence? You may not like them, but unless these are a specific one-off version, you'll find Havaianas last for years.

(Fashion suicide, I know, but being an unfashionable shoewawa addict, I was delighted to take your advice and by mine direct from Igapost in Brazil - wear them all the time: beach in the summer, bedroom in the winter)

Charity or not, these are yust plain ugly, plastic and low quality! The only way I see myself buying these is to give it to charity right after the purchase!
