To me Biba brings to mind a dark, luxurious 60s fashion mecca full of fabulous prints, mini skirts and shop assistants wearing more mascara than Tyra Banks (not to mention my mother, on a pilgrimage from the Midlands, in search of red kinky boots). 40 years after the original Biba boutique opened, the brand is back with a shoe range that'll blow your mind. The lazer-cut leathers and chunky platforms aren't going to be everyone's cup of tea, but if you love a bit of retro you'll love what's on offer. Prices start at £275 at Browns.
