Chloe-alike Wedges
Well, I'm back from my hols and happy to see that while I was away, ASOS finally added their Chloe-esque wedges to the site (left, shown with the platform soled designer originals). A few savvy Shoewawa fans spotted them on ASOS models over recent weeks and now they're on sale in three colours for £25. I'm not the only one to pick up on the bargain designer homages - Kristopher's also given them a mention today over at Top Button. Now there's only one question we need to ask ourselves. White, tan or black?!

Thanks for the drop! Those Chloe wedges are making me a drool into my soy latte.
I promise I'm typing figuratively, otherwise I'd order some new caffeine.
Give me 30 minutes and I'll be on latte #2 either way.

I MUST have these shoes!! They are to die for. But the retailer doesn't ship to the US (and that's where I am) any other online retailers that might ship which have a shoe similar to this one? PLEASE?

Must have. Must have. But where, oh where, can I purchase in the States?

I too would love to find them in or available to the US.

hi shoewawa,
i've also posted a chloe look-alike shoe my friend got in Hong Kong! They're cheap too, she said it costs like HK$480 = US$62.00. Take a look, http://www.nitrolicious.com/blog/2006/04/04/hong-kong-shopping-2-04022006/#more-482

Am I the only one who thinks they look like logs tied to the feet? They barely cover the toes, don't support the sides and are clunky.
I'd never be caught dead in some of those.

I actually like the Asos version better than the Chloe! The Chloe's are too chunky IMO---I like a bit less platform. I should never go to the Asos site to look at shoes though---I always find something I like and it bums me out (I'm also in the states.) :(
I am looking for a more casual nude shoe (liked the lalo but too dressy for my stay at home mom life---they'll never get worn!) This one really was perfect. Oh well!

Oh yuck.. Carmen Electra made them look like stripper heels. Any appeal I had for these shoes--GONE. lol.

Hey girls, how can I get hold of some of these Hong Kong Chloe 'lookalike' Platform Wedges? I want, I want!!! Please reply! ;) LOL!

I second that. I really dig the Honk-Kong Chloes waaaaaay more than the ASOS version. The wedge is just too, too skinny for me. Not enough stack.
But, for real, I'll take what I can get. >_

Hmmm... how much is that from HK?!480 HKD?! If it was from a local shop here in HK with no names.. ( infamous shoe shops.. ) then it's actually expensive! Local shops here in HK that sells shoes usually range only from 60 HKD to 199! Try to check it out when you go here in HK.. If you go to HK, learn how to bargain for cheaper prices! ^_~
