Pucci Gone Wrong

HeelpuI know it's not Thursday, but I'm going to talk about an ugly shoe anyway. My reaction to these was a bit like when I see plastic surgery taking place on TV, or a magazine cover about Chantelle and Preston or Kerry Katona. I don't really want to look, and every sane part of me tells me not to look, but somehow I do anyway. It's those heels! I can't help myself! I should be nice about Pucci now that Matthew Williamson is head designer, but even I cannot find a nice word to say about scalloped cork heels. Shell out $545 and you too could look like an extra from a David Bowie video.

These are sick. In a really bad way.

They could be worse. I mean, add a little bright pink and some sparkles and they would look like Barbie shoes.

The only right thing about those shoes is the black straps. Everything else is soooooo baaaaaad.

I'm in ooh la love, maybe if only for my weakness of hook-tall heels that cost more than the monthly total for my soy latte habit.

hooker-tall* Shouldn't type before soy latte has kicked in.

As usual, I am awe-struck by the shoes everyone else hates! I love the heels, but not the black straps, 'cos they're a bit boring compared to the rest of the shoe. I would still wear them though - I'd just make sure my trousers covered over the black strappy bits!
