St. George's Day Shoes.

Red1_1You might not be aware that this Sunday is actually St. George's Day, and a great excuse to get all patriotic and drink to the patron saint of England. Add to that the fact we're getting very close to the World Cup - time to whip out your red and white - and we have a great excuse bring you our top ten red and top ten white shoes to get you in the pro-England mood. [Toni Kelly]

Red1_2

Red or Dead Wall Court. £74.99.
- Only available in a size four, but I think I'd try and fit in to these anyway!

Red2_1

LK Bennett Paige High Court. £129.
- Expensive, but could you really care? I'm absolutely in love with these simple but fab courts.

Red3_1

Charles by Charles David. $118.95.
- I'm a big fan of espadrille wedges and love the flower-like detail on these.

Red4_1

Spotty Ballet Pump £18.
- Everyone needs a pair of decent ballet flats and these are a great style with an even better price tag.

Red5_1

Kit Flat Peep-Toe Shoes. £17.
- Everywhere I look at the moment, I see flats with open toes. So why not get the look on a teensy budget with these from Additions?

Red6_1

Womens Flower-Detail Wedges. £30.
- I'm the world's biggest wedge fan, being a clumsy idiot who can barely walk more than ten metres in stilettos. These are perfect for people like me and I love the detail, too.

Red7

J Renee Womens Aster. $84.99
- Interesting little detail here that I just had to show you.

Red8

Gina 'Nadia'. £295.
- It's all about nautical style at the moment and anything from Gina is always going to score high from me.

Red9

Manolo Blahnik Satin D'Orsay Pump. $565.
- There's something so timelessly classic about Manolo d'Orsays and thankfully there's a version in red to suit this rundown. It just wouldn't be right not to include these.

Red10

VivaLaDiva.com Toe Post Mule. £19.99
- Probably best to keep these in reserve for summer, but for that price, who cares if you can only wear them three months out of 12?

Top 10 White Shoes

White1_1

Schuh Swan Tie Ballerina. £24.99
- The picture isn't great, but I actually own these and they've received plenty of compliments!

White2_1

Calvin Klein Coll. $319.99
- These could be dressed up or down. I suppose for that price they'd need to be versatile as well as oh-so-pretty!

W3

Enzo Angiolini 'Parkin'. $92.95
- I do believe these would make a wonderful holiday shoe for the summer months abroad.

W4

Sequin Flower Flat Mule. £8 (sale price)
- I'm a sucker for anything pretty with a low price tag...!

W5

M.O.D. Viola. $39.95.
- The world has gone polka dot crazy and so have I. Really pretty and wearable wedges for a great price.

W6

Schuh Biba Eyelet Cuff. £44.99.
- Initially, this looks like a bog standard pointed pump. But look closer! The ankle detail definitely sets it apart.

W7

Women's Scorpio. $54.99
- I was really struggling to find something with a low heel, but I've finally come across some! Simple but classic.

W8

Christian Louboutin Satin Platform Sandal. $730.
- I kept seeing these and ignoring them, but for some reason kept coming back. They're simple but a bit original and different. One can dream of owning shoes like this.

W9

Sequin Toe Thong Flat Sandal Espadrille. £12.
- I can just see myself on holiday, lapping up the sun on the beach, a cool cocktail in my hand and these on my feet. Then I look outside and see the English rain. I prefer my fantasy.

W10

Madeline Carmen. $39.95.
- To many, these would be too childish and old-school, but I think they've got a certain charm about them. Good price, too.

Now that's all wrapped up - Happy St. George's Day to all you English ladies out there!
