Next's chunky Chloe style platform sandals
High street stores have really latched onto the trend for chunky sandals this season. Middle class favourite Next is the latest in a long line to follow in the footsteps of Chloe and put a heavy wooden sandal with thick leather straps on its shelves. The designer originals (left) with their 2cm platform and 11cm heel will set you back £405 at Net-a-Porter. The high street alternative is a more affordable £29.99 with a slightly small 10.5cm heel and leather uppers.
