omg i want these sooo much, they are just drop dead gorgeous, but as im a penniless student, for a much, MUCH cheaper alternative im off to topshop cos they're currently selling some 'lace almond toe court shoes' that are very similar and less than a tenth of the price!!

I agree - if you look at these after just having looked at those hideous denim things on this weeks yay or nay it throws everything into perspective - couldn't afford them but maybe the copies won't be too tacky!!!

d'Orsays would have minimized the lace detail and the beautiful, vintage feel to the shoe. Manolo has got it right yet again :)

Thanks for pointing out my idiot faux-pas. Stupid thing is I'm forever having to explain what a d'Orsay is to other people and know full well that these aren't them. I think I just looked at them too quickly too late in the day and mistook the non-lacy bit for a cutout.
