What you call a pump, we generally call a court. Pumps to us are flat plimsoll style things, or ballet flats like these.

Obviously "pump" means something different in the UK. I would call those flats. And pumps here are maybe more what you call courts?

I'd love to see a transatlantic shoe glossary.
