Shoes with built-in stun guns!
It's a dark, miserable night and you're walking home when a dodgy looking bloke comes up behind you. What's a girl to do? Whip out her pepper spray? Sound her rape alarm? How about taking him down with 100,000 volts of electricity via a stun gun carefully concealed in her shoes? It sounds crazy, but that's the theory behind the Electric Cinderella Shoe. A matching necklace acts as the trigger button, igniting a spark in the toe to warn attackers to back off. If they don't, breaking the tip of the shoe will reveal the real weapon. It's just a prototype at the moment, but it may well go into production if the right backer comes along. It brings a whole new meaning to the phrase 'killer heels', doesn't it?
