Peacocks - The New Primark?

According to the those in the know, Peacocks is set to challenge Primark for the crown of best budget retailer. The cheap chain store recently scooped Value Footwear Retailer of 2006 at the Drapers awards (beating my favourite cheap shoe haunt, New Look). Their shoe range stocks everything from retro bow wedges to bright espadrilles (left), but the real star is a ballet flat with a suede pointe-detail toe. The £10 style (in various colours) is snapped up by budget fashionistas as soon as it hits the shelves. If you've not thought of popping into Peacocks for shoes before, now is the time to try them out!
