When Bows get Better Moschino-style

ZapposbowsFrom my last post about this, most of us seemed to agree that if it weren't for the heinous black bow, the Moschino heel wouldn't be quite so bad. Well, I'm happy to report that by changing the colour, this Moschino-inspired creation by Kenzie has actually improved my opinion of this design... tenfold! Available in two colours, gold metallic (pictured) and rose metallic, they're also less than a quarter of the original Moschino price at $82.95. So there you have it, from court jester to cool all thanks to the right colour combination.

Ooh, these are really pretty! Pity the heel would probably kill me. Do some people really not feel pain when they wear really high heels for anything more than an hour?

I think they learn to live with the pain. The heels on these aren't too bad - they're fairly chunky. I know I get to a point where I stop caring anymore and walk on through the pain (or stash flip-flops in my bag). Scholl party feet help a bit, or a good cushioned insole. Or there's always a nice shot of botox in your feet (no joke, apparently it's the new celeb thing to do).

Perhaps it's because I live in Dallas (where we wear stilettos to the grocery store), but I'd almost classify those as "sensible" heels. I've worn heels that hurt, but I chalked that up to poor fit, not height. I have plenty of 3"+ heels that I wear all day without any discomfort.

By the way, I truly love those shoes, but (a) I have nothing to wear with them and (b) I don't have the money to splurge on new shoes. Alas, the plight of the sensible.
