Yay or Nay Wednesday

RedynIt's nice to see you won't take cheap and tacky, even from big name designers. Last week's Yay or Nay shoes were from Stuart Weitzman, but you were having none of the denim uppers and metal heels (which, unsurprisingly, are now in the sale). Perhaps you'd like them better in black crepe? Now we've got that out the way, let's move on to this week's shoe. We've had a lot of red on the site this week, so I thought I'd continue the accidental theme. What do you think of these red slingbacks? Yay or Nay and Why?

[It's Yay or Nay across the Shiny blogs today, so don't forget to vote at Trashionista, Bridalwave, Catwalk Queen and The Bag Lady too!]

NAY NAY - The peep toe placement makes it too "peep" and not enough "toe". They might look slightly more decent with a smaller heel...

    Yay!

Just like you, I have an obsession with anything with a bow (or stripes, or polka dots, but that's beside the point).

I've also had a recent obsession with peep-toe pumps. Not too fond of the sling back bit, but the rest of the cuteness that leaks off these shoes is worth it.

Besides, there's something about cute red heels that cannot be resisted.

This is difficult for me. They are all cute and vintage and shiny and red, and therefore, I love them. But that bow thing and the shape of the heel irritates me for some unknown reason.

On the whole- Yay, but I'd never wear them.

  • Yay definitely very cute, though the heel is very narrow. Are these patent? I'd prefer them as plain leather even though I do like patent, think plain would suit these better.

Yay! Oh my word, YAY! How did this even come up for discussion?

    Where can we find these?
