Ah Barbie pink, don’t you just love it! Fabulous with a suntan, stunning with denim, and… stereotypically only for girls with blonde hair and big boobs, or possibly those with pigtails! Well, if Manolo can bring out a pink patent leather peep-toe (right) then it’s got to be right for the rest of us too! They’re adorable, but if you can’t quite stretch to the $545 price tag, I’ve found a fairly similar pair from River Island (left) for just £39.99 instead! Another great alternative is this version available from Schuh, priced £49.99 and called "Melrose Peep Slingbacks" they also come in black or red with a Laboutin-style red sole (not on the pink version).

I got these in a similarly -styled Manolo sandal a year or so ago and couldn't quite put a name on the color- but Barbie pink it is! They are my fashion fantasy shoe and I had to have them. Quite out of character for me. My sister thinks I'm nuts- but she just envies my nerve.
