Gladiator Sandals a la Kate Moss

Gladiator sandals might not be very flattering, but there's no denying they're hip this Summer. I blame Kate Moss. I think she deliberately wears stuff that makes mere mortals look like idiots (men's waistcoats, wellies and hotpants, gold mini dresses, 80s style ringlet perms etc). But who can blame her? It can't be nice to buy something new and find half the high street has copied it a few weeks later. Ah, the life of a style icon! If you want to copy her footwear, these caged-in sandals from S + J at Girlshop are as flattering as gladiators are going to get. Still, at $175 in the sale I'll still be giving them a miss!
