Kit vs. Delman at SAKS (via Marc Jacobs)

Gold_1

I know these aren't an exact match, but let's say you decided to pray to the shoe Gods and you had these requirements: gold metallic, peep toe, small heel or wedge and some toe embellishment. Et voila! When I spotted these gold small wedges by Kit I immediately thought of a similar-ish pair from Delman at Saks Fifth Avenue. But while the Kit pair are only £19 the Delman's are $205.90 (and that's in the sale). The main difference is the type of heel - wedge vs. tiny stump of a heel (what are the point of those, exactly?) - but all in all, similar enough to be worth a mention. Those straps on the front are very Marc Jacobs, too.

i have never understood the point of that itsy bitsy teenie heel. if anything i find them more difficult to walk in that in a normal pair!
personally i actually prefer the cheaper version!

It's not quite the right metallic. But I agree with Kris. I don't like the teeny tiny heels because I end up twisting my ankle or something. They ARE harder to walk in. When you have low heels, you expect them to be easy to walk in... but you still have to balance on the tiny heel which makes them just as much work to walk in as 4 inch stilettos.
