Pink Glitter Dorothy Shoes - Miu Miu vs Office

Glitterypinks
I felt a bit like I was going back in time when I saw the shoes on the left, brand new from Miu Miu and coming in at a hefty $385. That's a lot to pay for novelty shoes that'll result in random people in bars making dodgy 'there's no place like home' comments as if you've never heard them before. If you really want to give pink glittery shoes a go, a much more frugal option would be Office's dolly interbows (right) which are now down to £25 in the sale. That's around 10% of the price of the designer ones!

if i had to pick it would def b the cheaper ones, the main reason not being the price, but they actually look a lot nicer than the miu mui ones!

I disagree that the cheaper ones are cuter; I like the black details and the gentler pink of the Miu Miu pair. However, I don't think the cheaper ones come in at less than 10% - the cheaper ones are 25 GBP, which is about 46 USD, a smidge above 38.5 USD.

I hate currency conversion!

Very true, I hadn't thought about the exchange rate. They'll no doubt be much pricier in the UK though, things always are (which is why I'm contemplating taking an empty suitcase with me when I visit the US later this year).

Yikes those are flashy!!

If I had to pick though, I would say the cheaper ones are much cuter.

I like them both. I like the Pradas more, a little more current.

I got to agree with Style Graduate, I prefer the contrast and subtle shade of pink over the cheap ones. The cheap ones just look more, well, cheap.
