If you're looking for a rather special shoe themed book for your coffee table look no further than 'Shoes The Complete Sourcebook' by John Peacock, available from Amazon at £16.46. As the title suggests it has everything you could ever want and need to know about shoe, with over 2,000 beautiful illustrations documenting shoes throughout history. The book even includes biographies on all the shoe 'greats' including Salvatore Ferragamo and Manolo Blahnik. I like to think of this book as an 'educational' read therefore a completely valid purchase!
