Ugly Shoe of the Week

Asymjellie_1When will it end? I can't take all the jelly shoes that seem to be everywhere, taunting me. Office have introduced the Asym Jellie Sling which I find a little disturbing. Why? Well the grooves, which I assume are meant to be some sort of pattern really remind me of something else, possibly made from a similar material and found in a shop like Ann Summers (admit it, you see it too). The only saviour is that they are £9.99 so if you decide after one wear that sweaty, smelly feet wasn't the look or feel you were going for they can be swiftly chucked into the back of the wardrobe never to be seen again. Hopefully.

I don't know why anyone would WANT to wear plastic shoes... They are not only ugly, but terribly uncomfortable. I fail to see what the attraction is...

We should melt all the plastic shoes in the world and make a house out of it or something....

I honestly laughed out loud when I read the Ann Summers part - so true Steph!

plastic shoes??? how can anybody in their right mind want to make their feet sweaty and gross!! after reading the ann summers part i cant look at the shoes in the same way any longer...

I don't know if they have "Ann Summers" here in the states, but I figured out through context clues (and I googled Ann Summers to be sure...) and I must say that I definitely see the same thing. Perhaps the designer is into recycling?

Sorry. I couldn't help myself. These shoes are gross!

This is the first time I have heard negative comments about these! I have a pair and they are really nice to wear, and I keep seeing lots of people wearing them so I can't be alone in thinking that!

I think you are wrong I wore my pair all holiday and had loads of people stop me asking where I got them from.I think some people just find it hard to accept new trends when they come around again as for sweaty feet somtimes there are sacrifices to be made in the name of fashion and since they are waterproof you can easily cool you tooties off in the sea if needs be.

But WHY Rebecca? WHY do you want to wear shoes that looks like a penis!?
Weirdo.

Umm I love the color and the design, I'd wear them. Jellies are hot too they're plastic, but every time I wear them it sparks up convo's with people who say " I remember those!" "Where did you get them?" I reply I never kiss and tell..Anyway they don't look like a penis, the veins on a penis are far more thick and more appealing...ooh I must go have a convo with one now..Toodles Bitches!
