Fall 2006 Marc Jacobs Collection Mary Janes

I remember when the Marc Jacobs fall collection hit the catwalk and the reception to the shoes was...well, lukewarm to say the least. The grungy collection meant scuffed looking chunky shoes that just didn't work well at a time when we were all cinching our waists and showing off our bums in pencil skirts. Now things have loosened up a bit, it's easier to appreciate the distressed looking heels (especially now we see them without chunky knitted socks). These chunky Mary Janes have just appeared on Eluxury for $635. Love 'em or hate 'em, no doubt there'll be copies in Topshop faster than you can say 'where's my credit card?'.
