Black opaque tights are a better option, topped with something simple on the top half - a slinky knitted sweater dress or a 60s shift. Add a cropped jacket or a belted mac, and you're on your way. May sound odd, but i wear dark denim tight-ish turnups with mine. Something slightly vintagey-pinuppish about the overall effect. The turn-ups make sure you get to see the entire bootie in all of its glory.

i don't think i'll ever buy a pair of these. i tried on a pair a couple of days ago, and i just can't seem to understand their beauty.
I got a pair of grey ankle boots for 50p from a car boot sale last year (smug smug). Grey leather will always remind me of Kel from Kath and Kim, but thats a good thing.
I wear them with jeans, and will try the turn up thing, but my legs are too twig-like to contemplate wearing with skirts.

I actually bought these grey Topshop boots this morning, they are so heavenly.
