The blurb for this Lulu Guinness flat formal shoe tells the reader that the square-toe is 'new' for this A/W, which isn't true, but I think this is one of the first times I've seen it on a flat. Or maybe I'm only noticing a square toe for the first time due to the advertising spin, but theory aside, I like it and it's another flat that will transfer well to evening wear. It's a little on the pricey side at £135, but I feel it's worth it. Also, if you like the style but simply can't live without a heel, £205 buys you the taller option.
