Red or Dead 'Rod Rainbow'

Fab Usually when I post here, I'm writing about shoes I'm either thinking or dreaming of buying, but for once I'm going to put myself 'out there' and open myself up to comment by displaying a shoe I actually already own. I fell in love with these rainbow ankle-straps from Red or Dead over a year ago and managed to find a pair for just £9 on eBay. I absolutely adore them, even if it is sometimes difficult to find outfits to match ( tip: they look great with simple black trousers). They're £69.99, which is a full £60 more than I paid, but I think I'd have bought them anyway.

I wouldn't be brave enough to wear them myself, but they would be very nice with black.I love Red or Dead shoes.

I like most of your shoes as shown on the myspace website. But I'm not so sure about this pair. But as you only paid £9 for them, well done.

The ones on the Myspace page are mine. These belong to our contributor, Antonia. At the bottom of each post is a 'posted by' note that lets you know who wrote the piece. Shoewawa's growing so rapidly now I can't write everything myself. Sorry if it's not clear.

I actually really like these shoes. They remind me of those Paul Smith boots that were out a few years ago.

i remember seeing these a few years back and liked them then however i dont really like them now and im glad i didnt pay the price for them, at £9 you got a bargin id agree with sticking to black to wear with them.

They're charming, cute and fun! The perfect shoes to wear on a day when one needs a visual mood-boost. I have a bright orange shirt that serves that purpose. Nice choice :)

WOW! I'm not sure what to think about those shoes. In some ways, I can see how cool they are, but my conservative side wants to run and hide from them. But hey for £9, how can you go wrong?

Wow. Love them! I have a pair of grosgrain ribbon mules (the Oscar 'Aimee' mules in the fuschia colorway) that just cheer me up enormously, but I think these might amuse me even more!

Ahh definetely my type of pattern. I love stripes. I can't believe you managed to get a pair at £9!!

I got these over a year ago having lusted and been unable to find them for 5! Mine have a plain silver heel though which i think suits the style more! The yellow distracts from the stripes!! Still lovely though and great with jeans and a plain top!
