Valentino Suede pump
I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this Valentino suede pump ($550). The flower goes along with fall's larger proportions, but I definitely think it would have to be the only larger proportioned item in your outfit. Otherwise you might look like someone out of Willy Wonka. The shape of both the shoe a nd the flower are very elegant, and in suede you can't get much better. But does the flower really go with the shoe? I just can't decide. The shoe is so interesting, I kept coming back to it, so there must be something to it.

I know what you mean...there's something a bit Dorian Green about them (the reason I cant do leopard either), but nevertheless very nice. a grower?

They're quite lovely. You'd definitely have to keep them as the 'stand out' feature of an outfit.. they'd look gorgeous paired with a 50s style dress, or a simple shirt and pencil skirt. Tres chic!

I think they'd look perfectly adorable from under a simple dress or skirt, especially complimented by a nice trench-style jacket or coat this fall... but that big flower sticking out from under jeans or trousers? It might look like you got... well... something on your foot, if you know what I mean. But there's definitely a old-fashioned yet chic, classic look to them that draws me.
