Women Would Rather Buy Shoes Than Pay Bills. Duh!
Harpers Bazaar have just released the results of a survey that showed 25% of us are more likely to buy shoes than pay our bills. Nice to see we have our priorities right, isn't it? The survey of 1000 women also showed that 10% have spent over £1000 on shoes in the last 12 months. 50% confessed to owning over 30 pairs of shoes (amateurs) with 8% owning over 100 pairs (now that's more like it!). Most surprising was the fact that75% of these women own shoes that don't fit properly. Shame on you. You wouldn't catch me doing a thing like that (*rubs blister*).

LOL Your a fantastic writer. I always love reading you posts!
I mean, of course we'd all rather buy shoes than pay the bills. That's a silly question! But if I need to pay the bills and don't have much left over, I just go to Wal Mart or Payless and buy a cheap pair instead.
£1000 on shoes! That's over $1,000 in US... I definitely didn't spend that much on shoes in the last 12 months. I think I spent about that on my entire summer wardrobe. I'm very thrifty!
Only 8% own more than 100 pairs of shoes!?! Well, I'm one of those 8% then...
And yes, with that comes shoes that don't fit properly. I mean, with that many pairs of shoes, it's pretty much impossible for them to all fit perfectly! I have shoes ranging from size 5.5 to 7.5 (US sizes).
Very interesting stats though!! Thanks for sharing!!
