We all know by now that the ankle boot / shoe is going to be this Autumn's footwear must-have, but what do you think of these shearling trimmed ones? They come from a collection with a distinct aviator theme, and while I like the idea of teaming them with thick wool tights, a brown suede skirt and a chunky cream knit, I couldn't help picturing them on a Playboy model in nothing else but a cleverly arranged bomber jacket, with the accompanying text including various puns on the word 'cockpit'. So I'm putting them up to the vote. Chic or tacky? Yay or Nay and Why?
