Anna Sui Antique Effect Boots
I often explain or justify the seeming frivolity and superficiality of fashion with the artistic argument. That these clothes, handbags, and shoes we adore are not only individual expression but can be bona fide art. These antique effect boots are fall's exhibit A. The Anna Sui motif is featured on a mahogany leather patch, but it also looks like there's a great deal of embossing. With so much detail and glitter, I'm impressed the boots retain and understated, chic look. Are these subtle styles we've been seeing the new take on "Western?"
