After a bit of an Indian Summer, the temperature has finally dropped enough Blighty that my friends no longer look at me in disbelief when I wear boots under my jeans ("you're wearing boots? Are you MAD?" - anyone would think I'd rocked up wearing thermals and a fur coat or something).
